Make up pictures will be taken this Saturday, March 29th from 1:00-3:00pm on the football field. Please spread the word to anyone on your team that missed pictures on Opening Day.

Congratulations to the winners of the Home Run Derby! Thanks to Foosackly's in Semmes for donating Foo snack vouchers to all of the participants, and also for providing gift cards to all of the winners! 

PLEASE make sure you arrive BEFORE your picture time tomorrow so there won't be any game delays. Pictures will be made on the football field right across from the Major field. Revised Schedules

We had to make some slight changes to a few of the Opening Day schedules.  The original schedule had some issues with our ability to efficiently schedule umpires and pictures.  Most teams just had to move back 1 time slot.  There were no Opening Day changes to the 7Y, 8Y, 9Y, or 10Y teams.

Note:  7Y/8Y teams had their weekly start times for late games set to 7:45 and it should be 7:30.  This has also been corrected.

Sorry for any confusion this may cause, but we felt it was necessary to make these changes so that Opening Day is a more enjoyable experience for our kids.

Uniforms

Team Moms- Uniforms will be available to pick up at the park prior to Opening Ceremonies. We will let you know the exact time as soon as possible.

Opening Ceremonies

Thursday, March 13th at 6:30pm (5Y, 6Y, 7Y, 8Y)
Friday, March 14th at 6:30pm (9Y, 10Y, 11Y, 12Y)

Please plan to arrive at 6:00pm in order to be ready to begin at 6:30pm. There will be a Home Run Derby both nights. It is $5/person to enter. Prizes will be given to the winner in each age group. 

Opening Day

Opening Day is Saturday, March 15th (see Schedules below). Please be prepared to be at the park well before your game is scheduled!

PLEASE NOTE:  Schedules are subject to change!  We have empty time slots at the end of the year that we use for rainout games; however, we may also move regular season games into those empty slots if we don’t have enough rainout games.  This mainly occurs during the last two weeks of the season.

Coaches Certification

There is a certification test meeting this Friday 3/7 at 7:30pm at the park. If you are not certified, you will not be allowed on the field for games. Please bring $20.00 cash for the test. If you wish to take the test online, please do so by visiting the following link: http://www.baberuthcoaching.org/coaches/. If you choose to take it online, you must submit a copy of the certification to the park.

Park Work Day

We will be having a final park work day this Saturday 3/8 beginning at 8:00am. We will be painting foul lines, weed eating, putting up new batting cages, etc. Please bring power washers, weed eaters, and blowers if you have them. We need all the help we can get to get the park ready for the season and Opening Day next Saturday 3/15. Please make plans to attend!

Meredith will be at the park to take sponsorship money from 6-7 tonight and Thursday night from 6-7. Sponsorships turned in after tonight are not guaranteed for opening day. Please call Meredith with any questions. 454-4930
